W. A. Frost's in St. Paul

After trying many, many downtown Minneapolis restaurants, we decided to branch off to St. Paul restaurants. Our favorite lunch spot is W. A. Frosts.

After Lauren returned from France and before May's hectic schedule set in, we decided to take a weekend break and visit again.

I'm certain the waitress thought we were crazy--taking pictures and tours of the old building.

Frost's is in Fitzgerald's old neighborhood--between Summit and Grand.

Frost's is known for their wide wine selection and their varied cheese menu.

The Creamery

While Lauren was in France, Hannah, Rich, and I went to the Creamery--one of our favorite restaurants. It's near Menomonee. When Lauren is at Stout, we'll be able to pick her up for dinner pretty easily.

Hannah sports a scarf look.

We had lots of laughs.

Masks at The Creamery

After dinner, we browsed the attached shop for jewelry, but had more fun trying on masks in the gift shop!

Jewelery

I've taken to jewelling lately. Hannah and Lauren like it, too. Here's a design by Hannah.

Here is a bracelet I made for my sister's birthday.

Here are the matching earrings.

A better closeup.

Lauren Visits France and Switzerland

After a year of saving, Lauren finally made it back to France. Traveling with a group of students from her high school, Lauren tries on sunglasses.

Part of her trip took her to Switzerland. It must be nice to only have to wear fleece when the snow covers the mountains right behind you. I wish it looked like this around here!

This picture was taken near Lauren's host family's house. Lovely!
